Drive It Day 2024 - JasminePorschaLink

The Chevin Motor Club has been Invited to an exclusive event at Jasmine Porschalink in Nelson. On the day of the event there will be a group  drive out to the event as part of the 2024 Drive It Day. It is an invite only event with free tea, coffee and bacon sandwiches on offer thanks to the bsuiness and organiser. it is expected to be a turn out of over 200 vehicles with a variety from supercars to classics all welcome. 

The dealer has stated they would like to know numbers for catering, so please e-mail e.roberts@jasmine-porschalink.co.uk so you can get a free bacon sandwich and coffee.

The group will be setting off from the first meeting point in Guiseley at 7:45AM alongside the local Cobra Owners Club. From here there will be a short drive to the second meeting point at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway at 8:15AM and on from there to the event. 

The Run-out Plan:

1. 07:45 AM: Leave Guiseley (Morrisons car park) and meander to Nelson through the picturesque Brontë countryside and beyond

2. We’ll stop-off at about 08:15 AM at the Keithley & Worth Valley Railway to pick-up members who are further afield or from other regions

3. 09:00–11:00 AM: Display at the Porsche dealer

4. 11:00 AM: Continue our run-out taking a northerly route to Embsay Steam Railway where we can stop for a look round and a tea or coffee before heading out

Points/Details:

• Total drive time: 2 hours

• Total distance: 60 miles’ish
